Organizations that previously held recognition at Wake Forest University may be eligible to pursue re-establishment on campus. All re-establishment efforts are subject to the discretion of the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Engagement (OFSE) and require approval from the Vice President for Campus Life.

  • Voluntary Withdrawal: Organizations that left campus on their own should complete the process outlined under New Expansions.
  • Involuntary Removal: Organizations removed from campus must follow the re-establishment steps outlined below to regain recognition.

Rights of the University

It should be clearly understood that recognition through Wake Forest University and the OFSE is granted solely at the University’s discretion, by invitation. Recognition is a privilege, not a right.

In the event recognition is withdrawn, the organization is expected to respect the University’s decision and operate within the terms of a return agreement, if one is offered.
