Recognition, Re-Establishment, & Expansion
The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Engagement (OFSE), formerly known as Fraternity and Sorority Life, has been part of Wake Forest University since the late 1800s, when the first fraternity was founded. With a long history on campus, fraternities and sororities provide opportunities for friendship, leadership, and personal growth. Today, Wake Forest is home to four councils and many chapters that uphold strong academic standards, support health and well-being, and live out the University’s motto of Pro Humanitate through service and philanthropy.
OFSE is committed to growing a vibrant and inclusive community by supporting both established chapters and those seeking re-establishment or expansion. Each process is unique, but all are guided by fair and transparent procedures that align with the mission, vision, and values of Wake Forest.
